ROME, SORRENTO, CAPRI, POMPEII, NAPLES, ROME, VATICAN
Day-1. ROME – SORRENTO: Arrive in Rome and board your bus for a ride through the Province of Lazio. Travel along Strada del Sole to Sorrento. Check into your hotel and go for a walking tour of Sorrento with your tour director.
Day-2. SORRENTO – CAPRI: Optional excursion to the island of Capri. Visit the Clock Tower, the Perfume Factory, and then to Via Tragara. You will also see Faraglioni, one of the oldest Lighthouses dated from ancient Greek times. Late return to Sorrento. Or spend the day on the beach or exploring Sorrento on your own.
Day-3. SORRENTO – POMPEII – NAPLES – ROME: Take a short ride to Ancient Pompeii. During a guided tour explore this once prosperous city, which was buried after the huge eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 76 AD. Continue to Rome. On your way stop in Naples to see the Naples Archeological Museum containing Roman artifacts from Pompeii, Stabiae, and Herculaneum. The collection includes works of the highest quality produced in Greek, Roman, and Renaissance times. End your day in Rome.
Day-4. ROME: Guided city tour of Ancient Rome led by a local English-speaking guide. See the Colosseum, the Arch of Titus, the Arch of Constantine, the Forum Romanum, Trajan’s Forum, the Campidoglio, the Victor Emmanuel Monument, and more.
Day-5. ROME: Join your tour director on a guided visit to the Capitoline Museums. The famous statue of She Wolf feeding Romulus and Remus is exhibited there with many more beautiful artifacts. Free afternoon.
Day-6. ROME – VATICAN: Enjoy a guided tour of the State of the Vatican. First, visit the Vatican Museum and then the Sistine Chapel with the ceiling painted by Michelangelo, St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest Catholic church in the world with Michelangelo’s masterpiece La Pieta and Glory by Bernini. Also, visit the Catacombs of St. Peter’s Church.
Day-7 ROME: Start the day with a guided tour of Baroque Rome. See Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Pinzio Hill, the Spanish Steps, and more. Visit the church of San Pietro in Vincoli and admire the statue of Moses a masterpiece sculpted by Michelangelo. Some free time in the evening.
Day-8. DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport for your return flight.

SURCHARGE: in single accommodation $120.00 per person/night
PAYMENT POLICY:
A deposit for the group of 6 is $3000.00 due 2 months before the departure date.

Includes trip cancellation, lost baggage, trip interruption, and medical insurance. It will be added to your first payment.
If your group or any individuals from your group do not accept this insurance, the group leader must inform E&L GROUP TOURS in writing.
All individuals traveling with E&L GROUP TOURS must show proof of valid travel insurance that includes trip interruption.

Gratuities optional – suggested $2.5 per day per person for the tour director and $5.00 per person per day for the local tour guide.
