The price is based on 30 paying travelers and 5 free chaperones. For smaller independent groups we will adjust the price. The ratio for free chaperones stays at 1 to 6. The lowest number of paying participants for an independent group is 10.
PARIS, BAYEUX, MT. SAINT MICHEL-ST. MALO, LOIRE VALLEY, VERSAILLES,PARIS
Day-1.DEPARTURE CITY-PARIS: Flight from Edmonton and overnight flight to France.
Day-2. PARIS-BAYEUX: Arrive in Paris in the morning. Panoramic tour of Paris which will include the main sites of this great city, such as the Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, Notre Dame Cathedral, Champ Elysees, Arch d’ Triumph, Trocadero, Opera Garnier, La Bastille, Left Bank, University of Sorbonne, etc. Then continue with a ride to Bayeux and your centrally located hotel inside the walls.
Day-3. NORMANDY: Visit the landing beaches of WW II. Start at Arromanches- les-Bains, a small fishing village that was turned into the military harbor and famous Point du Hoc. Then visit Courseulles-sur- Mer where the Juno Beach Center is located, as well as the Memorial Pegasus, dedicated to the men of the 6th Airborne Division and their heroic actions during the Battle of Normandy 1944. Then return to Bayeux for some free time in the old town.
Day-4. MT. SAINT MICHEL-ST. MALO- LOIRE VALLEY: Travel along the coast to visit Mont Saint Michelle, one of France’s greatest tourist attractions with its narrow streets dominated by the Abbey (entrance fee included). Then to St. Malo to the famous pirates’ den and the great walled town. Late in the afternoon continue to Loire Valley and the town of Tours for overnight. After the dinner join your tour director on a walking tour of this medieval town.
Day-5. LOIRE VALLEY-PARIS: Explore the Valley of the Castles. First, visit Chenonceau Castle, the most beautiful castle in the Valley. Then proceed to the beautiful town of Ambois. This is where Leonardo da Vinci arrived as an elderly man and created his famous painting Mona Lisa. Visit the Abbey and the market before we continue to Chambord, the largest Renaissance castle in the Valley. Late in the afternoon depart to Paris and your hotel located in artistic Montmartre. Later visit Sacre Coeur and Montmartre with open-air crepe outlets.
Day-6. LOUVRE: Explore Ile de la Cité, the cradle of Parisian civilization. See Notre Dame and then via Pont Neuf, to Place Dauphine, and the Conciergerie Prison where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned. Later visit the Louvre, one of the largest museums in the world with a huge collection of sculptures and paintings, including the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, Venus de Milo, and the Winged Victory of Samothrace. In the afternoon, walk along the Seine to Pont d’ Alma where you will board Bateaux Mouches for an exciting cruise on the Seine.
Day-7. VERSAILLES: Travel to Versailles to visit the Versailles Castle, built by the order of Louis XIV-the Sun King,
considered the most beautiful royal castle in the world. Visit the State and Royal Chambers, the Chapel, the Drawing room, the Hall of the Mirrors, and the parks. In the afternoon return to Paris and take the elevator to the highest point of the Eiffel Tower for a great view over the city.
Day-8. PARIS: Visit Rue Mouffetard’s open-air food market where you will find countless assortment of French smoked meat, fish, vegetable, fruit, pastries, and many delicious and affordable French dishes including a big selection of French cheese. The rest of the day is free to explore Galleries Lafayette or Les Halles, the shopping paradise of the city.
Day-9. DEPARTURE: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

A down payment of $300.00 for the tours in 2024 is due before July 31st, 2023, and for the trips in 2025 before July 31st, 2024.

The down payment is not refundable.
The number of participants, the ratio, and the price can be changed according to request.
INSURANCE – optional.
Includes trip cancellation, lost baggage, trip interruption, and medical insurance. It will be added to your first payment.

Adults based on age.
If your group or any individuals from your group do not accept this insurance, the group leader must inform E&L GROUP TOURS in writing.
All individuals traveling with E&L GROUP TOURS must show proof of valid travel insurance.

Gratuities optional – suggested $2.5 per day per person for the tour director and $5.00 per person per day for the local tour guide.
